Formula
Coffee (g) = water (mL) ÷ ratio; Standard ratio = 1:15
- Golden Ratio: 1 gram of coffee per 15–16 mL of water (SCA standard).
- Espresso uses a 1:2 ratio (18–20 g coffee → 36–40 mL espresso).
- 1 tablespoon ≈ 5.5 g of ground coffee.
