Formula
Pay = (≤8 hrs × rate) + (hrs 8–12 × rate × 1.5) + (hrs over 12 × rate × 2)

- Hours up to 8 in a workday are paid at your regular rate.
- Hours over 8 and up to 12 in a single day are paid at 1.5× (time and a half).
- Hours over 12 in a single day are paid at 2× (double time).
- On the 7th consecutive workday in a week, the first 8 hours are 1.5× and anything beyond 8 is 2× — this calculator covers the standard daily rule.
